About Poodle
wetpoochie, made this website for my own sake to make my life easier when traveling and working, this way everything I need is centralized. Still working on it......

My notes
Not my notes
The creators, wikis and repositories I actually learned from and built the toolkit out of. Credit where it's due.
People & wikis
Source repositories
The catalogs the toolkit was assembled from. Every one of the 304 individual tool repos is linked on the Red-teaming page.
Documentation
Quick setup guides for somethings, I'm still working on it...
redteam_toolkit
One script. Fresh Windows PC → WSL installed → Kali installed → full red-team
toolset rebuilt and neatly organized into category folders under /opt/red-team/,
with a help.txt map of where everything lives. It installs tools, not data —
no secrets, credentials, C2 state or loot. Private repo, for authorized lab use only.
How to download & run
On a clean Windows 10/11 machine, clone the repo and run the bootstrap from an elevated (Administrator) PowerShell:
git clone https://github.com/wetpoochie/redteam_toolkit.git cd redteam_toolkit # in an ELEVATED (Administrator) PowerShell: Set-ExecutionPolicy -Scope Process Bypass -Force .\bootstrap.ps1
If WSL/Kali weren't already installed, Windows needs one reboot after the first
run — reboot, then re-run .\bootstrap.ps1 and it resumes automatically. Launch the
environment any time with:
wsl -d kali-linux
Running stages individually
Inside Kali, install.sh is staged and idempotent — run the whole thing
or just one phase:
sudo ./install.sh all # everything (default) sudo ./install.sh apt # Kali metapackages + explicit apt packages sudo ./install.sh pip # Python (pip) sudo ./install.sh pipx # bbot, impacket, netexec, man-spider sudo ./install.sh gem # Ruby gems sudo ./install.sh go # Go tools (subfinder, nuclei, httpx, ffuf, ...) sudo ./install.sh cargo # Rust tools sudo ./install.sh npm # Node globals sudo ./install.sh git # clone standalone tools into /opt/red-team/<category> sudo ./install.sh help # (re)generate /opt/red-team/help.txt
The scripts & files
| File | What it does |
|---|---|
bootstrap.ps1 | Windows entry point — enables/installs WSL + Kali, then runs install.sh inside Kali. Handles the one reboot and resumes. |
install.sh | The Kali installer. Staged & idempotent; builds the /opt/red-team category tree and generates help.txt. |
tool-categories.txt | category|tool|git-url map that drives how standalone tools are cloned and organized. |
TOOLS.md | Human-readable inventory of everything installed. |
help.txt | Generated map of what lives in each /opt/red-team folder, plus a categorized index of Kali's packaged ($PATH) tools. |
apt-packages-manual.txt, apt-packages-all.txt, dpkg-selections.txt | apt manifests — 234 manually-selected packages, 4118 including dependencies. |
pip-packages.txt, pipx-packages.txt, gem-packages.txt | Language-package manifests (821 pip packages, pipx CLIs, 179 gems). |
go-tools.txt, cargo-tools.txt, npm-global.txt | Go / Rust / Node global tool lists. |
